Fly Free My Blue AngelI usually avoid this forum as it depresses me beyond belief but today I didn't have that choice.
Today my lil' blue angel Hali spread her wings for the last time and took flight over the Rainbow Bridge. Hali went in for a biopsy/mass removal and never made it out of surgery, as the Dr. was putting in her last stitch she went into cardiac arrest and was unable to be revived. Fly Free sweety, Mommy and Daddy love you and miss you terribly.

Oh, Pete,
You are always so supportive and upbeat for everyone. Now, let us lift your spirits and be supportive for you. I am a big believer in the Rainbow Bridge. This baby will be there to meet you when it's time, I know. Daryl

I too am so very sorry for your lose Pete. Know that we're here crying and mourning with you. Hali certainly has a graceful and elegant flight - no doubt a result of having been loved so deeply. {{{comforting hugs}}}

Thank you all so much! My heart is crushed and all I did since I got the horrible news was sleep and cry. I know she went peacefully in her sleep and felt no pain but it still doesn't help dull the pain, she was still a baby and only 4 years old, she had a long life ahead of her.

I'm so sorry, Pete. What a little angel she looked like. What a shame to lose her so young.

Pete,
I noticed Hali's picture on your post in another thread. I thought of what a little stinker she is, and I almost commented. You know she was very special to us, as you would share her photos and her personality with the forum. I don't think I have ever seen a more beautiful little bird. Take comfort in knowing that she would have not had a better quality of life anywhere than in your loving home. Spread those tiny wings and fly straight for the bridge Hali. You will be missed. I can't begin to tell you how very sorry I am for your loss Pete! I know how much she meant to you!!
I, too, will miss her and teasing you about her "love bites." Even though she is no longer physcially with you, I know she will always remain in your heart and mind memories. Only time will lessen the sadness you feel now, but her happy spirit will always bring you loving peace. Sending love and hugs to comfort... Shi
