Maggie, I am so sorry for your loss of beautiful Frosty! She was a sweet, gentle bird. The baby picture you included is so precious! You and Lewis gave her a wonderful life and she returned the favor. My condolences to you both while you adjust to her absence. You have a wonderful emissary waiting for you in heaven!

Maggie and Lewis, that is just terrible news. She was a beautiful one and I know she was dearly loved by the both of you. I just can not imagin what pain you are going through right now. She lived a good life with you and I know she returned her love in her ways. Please accept my condolances to you both.

Maggie and Lewis,

Frosty's story is one of my favorites. In the seconds that it took to make a judgment call, you were able to give her 8 wonderful years. Let this be a lesson to all of us, that no matter how tiny and how lifeless seeming, all God's creatures have the will to live. Thank you for posting her tiny baby picture. Frosty grew into one of the most beautiful and healthy pigeons I think that I have ever seen. As much as you wanted to keep tiny Frosty alive, she must have wanted it too.

I am so saddened for our earthly loss, but I know that she is now flying with the angels.

Dear Maggie & Lewis,

I'm so sorry for your loss of Frosty I remember you telling us the story of how she was literally brought back to life when you first met her. She was a beautiful and very lucky pigeon to have been saved and then cared for by you both for all these years.

My sincere sympathies to you both over this, we all know how this feels unfortunately.

Maggie--
I just found this thread now. I am so sorry about Frosty. How sad to have lost this pigeon who was so very special to you. At least she was with you for 8 years--you were lucky to have been together and shared so many happy times. That is how I always have to think to myself about my cat who I lost 2 years ago, and it gives me some solace. Again, so sorry.

Maggie,

I'm so sorry to read of your very sad loss of Frosty. She was a stunningly beautiful bird that owed her wonderful life to you and Lewis for giving her life at such a critical time. She was in the right place at the right time and therefore destined to enjoy a happy and fulfilled lifespan with much love and affection.

Comforting hugs, and sorry for the delay in posting.

Lindi xx
