Your post made me weep, too. It was a beautiful tribute and I really appreciate your honesty. MJ said something profound--that our anger and disgust stem from fear. I have, I'm ashamed to admit, even felt this toward my human child who has health problems. Not because I don't love him but because I love him desperately and I'm mad as hell that he's not whole and normal.
I believe your Sparkle knew you loved her even though you got angry. And you weren't selfish to end her life--you acted with the utmost mercy. God bless you. -Cathy

What a bitter-sweet story written so well on behalf of your precious and beautiful friend, Sparkle.
Sometimes we put off for tomorrow what we know we should do today which can cause much frustration and anger within ones self. I know it was difficult to let her go...you did right by her by not letting her life continue in such poor quality. I hope your adorable others will help you through this tough time. You shall meet with Sparkle and all of your Beloved pets someday. Thoughts and Prayers for healing are with you.

I can barely see the keyboard through my tears. I am crying for you and for your precious Sparkle. I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for your loss and understand your story and have dealt with my own share of guilt as well. Thank you for sharing in such depth.

I'm so sorry for your losses, I didn't have the strength to read Sparkles story as I'm still weak from my own loss so I know what you're going through. Be strong, whatever happened to Sparkle is not a factor now, she is whole again, strong and filled with energy waiting for the day you will be reunited to pick up your relationship where it was unfortunately cut short.
