In loving memory of Chirpy & AngyWe had just bought some turkey eggs. 2 hatched Chirpy and Angey. Angey had problems from the start. Chirpy cared for her. Yet he couldn't do anything. Her insides were on the outside of her. Leaving her in pain. Chirpy sitting by her side. Giving her love, warmth. She was laying on a towel wet, but warm. Preventing her insides from drying. Chirpy still by her side. The day after they hatched Angy was on the verge of death. Fighting as hard as she could. One hour later she had passed. Having no chance at life.
Chirpy had taken it hard, but still worked through it. He had clinged to someone else. Me he loved me as I did him. I had took him on walks for a daily basis. He loved eating the ants. Thinking they are aliens of some sort. Running as fast as he could. Until it struck. He could no longer walk nor eat. Leaving him helpless and weak. Wondering if he would die or live. He had been brought to a strange place. The Vet. He had been given some medicine. He had a respatory problem, very treatable. He had a fighting chance. A week went by he was getting better but wouldn't eat. Few days later he had died. This was 3 years ago. IN LOVING MEMORY OF CHIRPY AND ANGY, WE LOVE YOU
