Speckie was indeed quite a pigeon. I'm glad she was able to recover to the extent she did. What a pigeon! I'm sad to hear she's gone. It's amazing what animals can do. Sometimes they can give us strength when the going gets tough for us just by realizing what they were able to accomplish.

She sounds like a very special bird.

Cynthia, I am sorry to hear about Speckie. She was a beautiful pigeon. Thank you for posting her story. The extent of her recovery gives hope to the rest of us who find birds affected by PMV. Thank God she was given a chance & came to be in your loving care.
