Little Stumpy is goneCame to feed my ferals last evening and Stumpy wasn't there. Certain ferals
just have this personality and this bird had one. Stumpy was aptly named because something had gotten all his tail feathers with just this little stump. He could still fly couldn't land well though. The people that park in this lot always are in such a hurry to go nowhere and can't stop for a bird much less a fellow human or another car I found Stumpy dead and picked him up and disposed of the body. Fly free over the Rainbow bridge little one you have all the other pidgs and Maggie to look out for you. I'll miss you Pat |

Sorry to hear about Stumpy's passing.
I always like it when I can tell one pigeon from another and follow their individual life stories. Unfortunately too often I can identify a pigeon because of some misfortune which marks him. It's fun to watch different personalities manifest. Larry

I am so sorry, Pat. He sounded like such a special little guy. I know he is joining Maggie's flock in heaven. I hope you find comfort in your other ferals.
