Only fly your birds an hour or two before sunset. Hawks are done eating for the day by then. You shouldn"t be bothered by them. Never lost any to hawks last year or this year so far.

What a beautiful pair! I am so sorry to hear your news. We are new to pigeons and have never lost one to a hawk but both of our hens have passed for not apparent reason. It is hard and it makes one sad to lose something that we cherish and love. Again I am sorry to hear about you pigeons. Sending warm thoughts of comfort your way.
