Even though Micklewood died, it knew it was loved and cared for towards the end. At least it didn't die lonely.

Cynthia and John, I'm so very sorry to hear of the passing of your Micklewood. I know how heart broken you and John are and no words will take away the pain, but always remember no matter how long their with you, you will always those fond memories that will help you get through because Micklewood will always live in your hearts.

Oh Cynthia and John, that is sad news to hear your Micklewood passed over to the Rainbow Bridge. He was so loved by you both.Sometimes things happen for reasons we do not know. I know you both did all you could, he was in the best of hands. I am sorry for your loss.

Thanks to all of you who also grieved for Micklewood (because I know that we all genuinely grieve for the loss of any bird or animal that is remembered in this forum.).
He had a short life but touched many hearts during his brief stay. Cynthia
