Thank you everyone. I wasn't even aware that these posts had been made. I will miss her. I tried to save her. Just couldn't. Maybe that's the way it was supposed to be. I don't know.

 ... I just wanted to add my condolences. I'm so sorry. It's just heartbreaking.... If there was a pair of hands for her to be in when she was sick, yours were it. I know you did all that you possibly could. Maybe; Heaven sent her back to you, so you could help her over the rainbow bridge. I'm so very sorry... Oh Renee.............I am so sorry. I just noticed your post. I remember the whole post about Dorey and Scooter when Poppy was born as an oops baby. I remember how Scooter woudn't get off the nest and let her be with the baby. I think we all feel in love with her through your story and posts.
I know you must be heartbroken. Poor Scooter, I know he will miss his special gal. Rest In Peace little Dorey...........Fly high and free in heaven.
