Not an animal but a very special person....If everyone could please say some prayers for the family of William Sullivan, he was our family doctor and a close friend and we just found out he passed away during back surgery on Saturday. This man literally saved my brother's life on numerous occassions (my brother has been struggling with addiction and suicide attempts for two years and is doing better now, mostly thanks to Dr. Sullivan). If it weren't for him I don't think my brother would even be here. He spent many hours outside of work tending to my brother, helped with hospitals and rehabs and just being his friend and mentor. He has done so much for so very many, many people and their families and just retired last week. He was going in for back surgery and then planning to enjoy his retirement years with his wife and children and grandchildren. He was a true angel in this world and so many people will miss him greatly. It is so hard on his family especially, and I know they would appreciate any prayers or special thoughts sent to them. We're very lucky in so many ways to have known him and he will be missed so much.

Maryjane,
I'm so very sorry to hear about your great loss, and especially for the family. It must have been a horrible shock for them because it happened so unexpectedly. Please be assured the family and their intentions will be in my prayers, today, at Mass, and Adoration. May God Bless the Sullivan family and keep them in His care during this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace.

Maryjane, I'm so sorry. This is especially sad considering he had just retired and was looking forward to a new life. I will certainly include his family in my prayers and also your brother.
I have had two doctors in my lifetime that were extra special too.

That is really too bad... sorry to hear about the loss of yet another incredible soul. It sounds like he has many who will remember him fondly and miss him greatly. He left behind love... that can't be all bad. Smile as you think of him. Cry for those left behind... sorry for your pain.

Thank you everyone, for all of your kind thoughts, words, and prayers. I really appreciate it and it makes me feel a bit better knowing his family has the extra support coming through, though they may not know it. Thank you again.
