Rip No Name BirdWent to feed my ferals this morning and I lost one. Beautiful bird all
charcoal grey. I must have come along after it just happened because the body was still warm. Removed it and prayed a small prayer and know it went to other side of the rainbow bridge. Sometimes I wonder what has happened to humanity. People are in such a rush for the train they don't care what gets in their way. FAREWELL NO NAME! |

I'm SO sorry to hear about this loss of one of God's most disrespected of all His creatures. How terribly sad.
Rest in peace, little one, and fly high away into the Heavens.

Patty, I'm sorry. Throughout our years of rehabbing pigeons, we have had "no names" too that passed away. Usually, they either died enroute home or shortly after we got them home. It made no difference how long we had them, they were loved and left a void when they died.

I'm sorry to hear that the little charcoal pij died.
I too wish that people would slow down and pay attention to what they're doing (and who they're stepping on), even if that wasn't the cause of this bird's death. At least now he is in a place where it is safe and there is always fresh seed and bath water around. ![]()
