Twister has gone to the Rainbow Bridge

The little PMV pigeon that I called Twister passed away tonight just a little while ago. She has been eating well and even drinking on her own the last few days if I held her carefully over the coffee mug. Her helicoptering and flailing movements seems so much like Tourrette's, where they just can't control the body movements, I keep thinking. At last she settled down tonight on her heating pad and then didn't wake up. I kept waking up last night thinking I would find her gone and was surprised she was still with me this morning, bless her heart. She really gave it her all. I'm glad she is free and healthy again in heaven. Thank you for everyone's advice and good thoughts for her. She was a very sweet girl and had a lot of heart.
