Hi maryjane,
So sorry... I too had a wonderful, gentle, sweet Rat for some years and I learned how completely charming and intelligent and nice they can be. He was always a joy, was very gentle and fun and had definite enthusiasms for many things, and he was very clever, tidy, and self sufficient. Similar to your report, mine passed away with no suggestion any end was near...after having lived here some three years or so. Golly... Phil l v

I am sorry to hear that Mr. Wheelie passed, I know you hurt. I fully agree that Mr. Wheelie came to you in your dream to say Good Bye and having that dream you will never doubt the love aniamals have for their owners, How sweet that he came to you one last time. Linda

Rats are fabulous! I've had quite a few over the years and each one was affectionate, intelligent, charming and very trainable. Wonderful pets. I'm so very sorry that your lovely Wheelie Rat is gone, but I'm sure your time together was very rewarding...
