Hello:
My name is Ross Scumaci, I am a manager on the Pennsylvania Turnpike Warrendale Interchange (near Pittsburgh). We have a banded bird AGSG 21141 at the interchange. The toll collectors have been feeding the bird for about 10 days now. I have called the Pittsburgh Aviary and some racing pigeon owners out of state to find some information and the owner. I just found your site and hope someone nearby will give this bird a home. It's a beautiful bird, its marked like a pinto horse. PLEASE contact me by email

I don't think this one was ever resolved. As far as I recall, the bird was still loose in the area and was just being fed by the staff members. I can check my private e-mail when I get home this evening as I am sure I did e-mail the thread starter.

It appears that Ross made that one post and wanted to be contacted by email. There was a phone number, but he removed it. I don't know if anyone contacted him or not. The original post was put at the end of another thread, so not sure how many people saw it. You could email him, but it's been about 6 weeks, so I expect the bird is gone by now or they found someone to come get it.
