Pidgeon

A pigeon was caught by our cat. To make the story short the pigeon never left and resides in my bedroom on the dresser. I de-wormed the pigeon that flies out of the window some days and always comes back at 6:30 pm. Since he lives so close to us please tell me what I should treat this bird for? Should I worry about some diseases which can be transmitted to us humans?
Thank you,
GK

the only thing I would suggest to you is to dust it for feather mites on your bird
