Question

2005 Young Bird Breeding

I have it from an reliable source that here soon all you "professional" pigeon racers will soon be breeding your 2005 Young Bird teams. As in, you'all count back about 35-ish days from Jan 01 and start mating your birds here soon so they're born right after the first of the year and can thus be banded 05, but be as mature (old) as possible when Young Bird Race Season rolls around... which OBTW, I have no idea when that is. Anyway... is this basically how it works? Also, if this is true, should there then be some squeakers out there in Pigeon-verse available come Feb / March?

Alot of people will be putting there birds together by the first of december. And others will wait .Say until March. depending on area and breed. Several people in homers. will have allready have been taking orders on young bird Kits. And yes 05 youngbirds will be coming out on the floor by feb, If you arewanting to pickup a few young birds. This would be a good time to contact someone to order a few.
