George, you sure came up with another winner. I've bookmarked it to go back and read more. I enjoyed it very much. The Pica's link was indeed updated in August 2005. I still worry so much though. Even when they talk about reductions of 50% by humane ways, will they keep on reducing the numbers down until we have none like the Passenger Pigeons.
The link on the passenger pigeon was interesting. What a shame the Smithsonian had relegated "Martha" to a non viewing area. I hope she has been reinstated. They also had a nice piece about our own NC Zoo helping the zoo in Kabul, Afghanistan recover. Thank you a lot.
