at what age to separate?

At how many weeks/months can I separate two young birds from there parents. The 4 of them are segregated for breeding. I would like to take the two young ones, pepper and pear, and put them in a larger cage with 5 other pigeons that I have, but I want to make sure there tough enough and and eat well on there own. I also want the two parents to alone....romantic....set the mood...YOU know what I mean!

Thanks guys!!!

30 days is aproximate time from hatching youngsters to wean.
Do not put them with adult birds in the cage keep them separated for at least another month. Young birds will be bullied by adults.
