Hey guys! I have a question about
bands. Ok so I have birds that are maybe (I have NO IDEA) 2 months and a half old, and I haven't banded them yet. I got them when they were about 4 weeks old, so just out of the nest. Currently, we're taking the birds farther and farther away, and after a recent hawk attack (that turned out ok!) I have thought about getting them banded in case they were incapable of coming back home and then someone could find them. I'm not part of an organization, and I have a tiny homemade loft with only 2 birds in it. Since I'm not part of an organization, I was thinking of personalized bands with my phone number on them. However, the only ones I can find are sold in bulk packages of about 100 bands (I have 2 birds) and, on top of that, are rather expensive. Any thoughts? Thank you!
