Crooked ToeI've got a youngster that has crooked toes on it's right foot that is about 3 weeks old, will it get better or will it be like that the rest of its life? What causes this to happen? I remember having an old cock with same crooked toes can this be corrected while they're still young?

Hi Henry,
Check this link, it may help you http://www.peafowl.org/ARTICLES/1/ Crooked toes can be either genetic, nutritional or humidity problem during brooding period. |

I think its something that happens during incubation but I dont quite remember why ,something with the temperature being to hot before hatching

Palmenh - Thanks for the link I will try that method of corrective treatment. I just hope it's not to late to correct this. It has been really hot the past 2 months so I think the heat is the culprit here.
