FOUND: in SF, CA Banded roller, NBRC 2008

Hello-

Are you missing a roller? NBRC s BAND, 2008. White & brown grizzle, healthy but hungry. She (?) is safe in my loft but I would love to get her home to her flock. I have notified the NBRC and posted to craigslist.

Thanks to the NBRC site (which I found on the PT Sticky for reading bands), I was able to return this little roller to her flock today. Her owner, Michael, had released his birds in a park about a mile and a quarter from his house and a few blocks from mine. This bird came in to my yard with my neighborhood ferals and acted hungry so I caught it and looked for the owner. Michael was glad to have his bird back home safe and I was glad to return her. I hope that if one of mine (or yours) is ever lost that someone will help him get home. And I gave him info about MickaCoo Pigeon and Dove Rescue.

I know how that goes. I lost my YB Uzbek the other day and still hoping it'll return. My daughter saw it's picture on the computer and she started crying....I tried looking for it and called for it but nowhere to be found. He acted very strange that day.
