Help needed


I have a pair Iranian high flyers that have two babys which are about 5 or so days old, they are trying to mate again to lay eggs and i dont have space for another nest i want them to take care of their babies and not lay eggs would it be a problem if i remove the cock and leave then hen taking care of the babies by her self ?

NO...NO....Don't even think of removing the cock,actually its the cock bird,which mainly takes care of the squabs.If u don't want more squabs,then just replace the future eggs with fake wooden eggs.this will solve your problem .if you remove the cock bird now,the youngones will starve to death...!!!

ok thanks for the advice guys i wont touch the cock lol that came out wrong. its not that i dont want more babies i do want more but last time when the babies hatched after 2 weeks they stopped feeding them because they wanted to lay eggs one baby starved to death and i took the other one and hand feed him and i really dont wanna do this with the new babies i want the parents to take care of them till they can start eating by themselves.
