Hey, I missed you guys

I just got back from a week long plus fishing trip at our cabin in Northern Wisconsin. We did catch quite a lot of fish. I brought my laptop with but was unable to do anything with it as I am not the most computer savvy and it uses a different Windows program than I am used to. Rather than take a hammer to it, I decided that I better just turn it off.

Anyway, I'm home and will be here to help and to learn when I can and have some fun in the process.

Bill

We had 30's nearly every night and one night down to 27 degrees. The days were mostly 50's but the last two days were up in the low 70's. It only rained once and that was our first day there, which was last Saturday when a new storm blew in about every half hour. Wild little storms and I'd never seen the lake so rough in almost 20 years of going there. There was a fishing contest going on that day and the boats were literally being blown off the lake.

Water temp ranged from 51 to 63 depending on the area and the day.

We just stayed in the first day and got the cabin up and running for the summer, had to fix a water heater and a toilet first thing. Always something.

Wouldn't ya' know, this was the one time that I did not bring a digital camera and there is a pair of Ospreys building a nest on a utility pole not 200 yards from our cabin. It was fun and amazing watching them carry large sticks to the nest.

The only camera that we had was a disposable that I always keep in my tackle box. Took a few fish pictures and nothing else.

I do have tons of photos from up North and will post some from time to time. It certainly is beautiful there.
