His voice is changingCoalie peeps less and less. Sometimes he honks. When he gets territorial, he inhales, and deep in his throat is the beginning of a coo. AH-rr-rr-rr. It's still quiet, so you have to lean close to hear. I love hearing it though! I remember when Cielo's voice was changing, he didn't peep for about a week, and then the next noise he made was his adult coo.
Why do they get so territorial about their space? Even when he's standing on my leg, he'll attack my hand when it comes too close. Rach |

My first pigeon baby just went through his voice change. Now he coos and dances like the other males. It's so neat.
