Why would you put them back with their real parent's after they hatch? In some
cases I know that pigeons won't develop pigeon milk even after you put a squab
for them to care for. Pigeons know when to produce pigeon milk when they feel
the eggs hatching. I've heard that there will be times when pigeons can start
the pigeon milk within a few hours after placement of the squab. But hey what
are the chances of that happening. Just my opinion.

Don't try that. There is no reason to do it.

ok.. you lost me sorry.. do not let a pair hatch and feed four babies.. using a foster pair for a pair of eggs you want to hatch is fine..AS LONG AS BOTH PAIRS LAY WITH IN 5 DAYS OF EACH OTHER.

so you have a color project..what color are you breeding for? what birds are you using to get the color you want?

Nothing like the facts to screw up a perfectly good story.

when i approach the nest the cock will slowly move out from incubating and observe what i was doing~ maybe because i always catch him by his nest perhaps he may think like that everytime i come near~ and when it's noon time or early afternoon or sometimes on any part of the day he may not be found sitting on the eggs instead he will be looking for his wife~! he might be worried of his wife from other cocks haha

That really isn't a good idea. For one, if they won't even sit on the eggs, then they aren't ready to raise chicks. Chances are they won't be any better at that. How old are these birds? Because they sound as though they are just too young yet to be good parents, and you need to give them a bit more time to mature. Rushing things won't work.

not too young~~~ he is actually sitting on their eggs but he really wants to escape out of the nest when i get near or he may go out of his job like 'under-time'~ this happen before only on the first 3 to 4 days of incubation period and they seem to be doing fine on the rest of the days

He'll probably get better. I still think I'd leave the eggs and see how things go. Let us know. Good luck.

Maybe you just need to build a better relationship with your birds?
