Intensive College + Pigeon = :( please help.

Hello everyone, I have a white garden fantail whom I love with all my heart.. But am afraid I think I need to find someone who can take better care of her.

I live in a one room apartment ( bedroom, living room and kitchen are all connected). and I go to College for game design. the classes i take eat up a great percentage of my day and i am only home to sleep.
If I happen to get home early, I let my fantail wander the place while i do homework and etc.

as many of you probably know, molting season is going on...
and the despite the baths and such that i give my bird, the dust levels are so high my eyes have been super scratchy.. I also am reacting on my skin to the air and breaking out, on top of it being that time of year where people just get sick... ( i can feel a sickness on its way within the week :/ )


so yeah.. big old fun situation..

I'm not entirely certain what to do.

I just received her from my family's house who were taking care of her till they decided that my bird must be my bird, and that I need to care for her or find her a suitable owner. ( makes sense.. :/ )
I've had her maybe 4 days now ( been living in the apartment over 2 months ).. and i'm really wanting to take care of this situation before I lose focus on school, or get seriously ill, or even worse, the bird winds up in a bad situation that she doesn't deserve to suffer over my faults.

any advice? or are there any people here willing to give my baby a loving home? im in San Antonio Texas.

also, i haven't fully decided to give her up..... i really love her.. but i have been through enough life lessons to know if you love something, then in certain circumstances, it is better to let it go if it will make it better off.
so, i may need to reach a decision soon..
