I was just wondering if this was an ok thing to be
feeding my birds. I've had pigeons for awhile and i've always fed them on the pigeon feed i get from my local feed store. however I was getting low on feed and i waited to long to get a new bag, so when i went to my feed store they were completely out of pigeon food, and weren't expected to get any in for about a week. So the man told me he had pigeons as well, but he didn't use any pigeon food. what he does is he uses duck pellets and whole corn, puts in 75% corn, and 25% duck pellets. I was kind of out of options so i bought it. they seem to be doing fine on it and it was alot cheaper for me. i have bought there regular food back and give it to them about twice a week. but should they be fine on the duck pellets and corn? is that healthy?
