Jude admitted Friday night - gavaged and wormed!! and placed in nice cage with food, water and perch.
Jackie ( nurse) unsure how he has lots his flight feathers too - he does't appear to have any wounds and is in good shape for a feral. She will keep him indoors for a couple of days for observation then he will be moved outside to the aviary to flex those wings and get those feathers growing back. Out of all the pigeons in the bird ward - he certainly looked the healthiest. Tania x |

Hi Tania!
Ooops missed this first time around - really should get my eyes tested. Glad that there is nothing seriously wrong with Jude. I do have to admit that it did make a pleasant change to see a feral looking relatively healthy, I just get so used to seeing them looking tatty, minus toes etc. I bet he is as happy as anything now that he is "free". Jude is now in the outside aviary sporting a yellow leg ring with 32 written on it. He is flying somewhat so coming along nicely. When the staff at London Wildcare are happy with him, he can be released.
