New home " sanctuary "Frank was looking for a home for a wounded pigeon he was caring for for the last two months. I met up with him to take the pigeon home to my loft.
true the bird will never fly as half of the right wing is gone but this lucky fellow found frank who by the looks of the bird is in excellent condition, although i took the bird from frank he made it clear if I had any problems with the bird he would take it back and countinue to try to find a home. god bless the franks of the world, of course I named the fellow frank but by the looks of the bird may have to change it to francine ![]() |

God bless the pigeon Georges in this world too!
Do you have many flightless pigeons in your loft? There seem to be so many calls for help from the New York Area! Cynthia

Franks pictureI will try to get a photo of frank up here " frank the pigeon of course". as for
flightless birds this is only the second one, but the other one loves to go outside with the pigeons when they hang out on the ground, since my loft is raised i had to put a little " handicap " ramp to assist them getting in. That has drawn some laughs but it works great |
