been reading abt pigeon day 2009 in new york,,noted with interest a band who will be performing called"vivian girls experience",who do pigeon related songs,including"madeline,the classic blue bar"and "pigeons in the park"gonna check em out on myspace,think they have released a "pigeon songs ep",,,so what are y all doing for pigeon day this year?its june 13(my sisters birthday lol)its also feast day of st anthony of padua,i think this year we will do a "feral feed" round town,saw a nice statue of st anthony in a local shop which sells spiritual and new age items,so i am gonna get one to go in garden(already have white statue of our lady) and make some pigeon treats for our flock

Well...... that sounds like a fine thing to do on pigeons day.

St. Anthony is one of my favorite saints and has responded to several of my requests for help, including finding my 2 lost young pigeons when I was 10 years old.

haha yeah they are quite off the wall,but like the fact they are into ferals lol,im ordering my daughter a plush toy pigeon from the national gallery in london,hes cute!(only £6.50)as a surprise pigeon day present
