Pigeons and chickensHello,
First time to post here, I raise chickens and have a open coopI would like to convert to a pigeon coop. My question is do these birds get along enough to be near the chickens coop. They are seperate coops and chickens free range in a 40x40 run that both coops are enclosed in. Thanks in advance. |

Hello and Welcome to pigeon Talk,
As long as they are not penned in together they should be fine, as both species have different needs, personalities, size and requirements. Pigeons will need any and all openings covered with 1/4" hardware cloth, not chicken netting.
