Question

Please help

I have Indian Fantails. Yesterday the hen from the primary breeding pair was killed. They have eggs that are about a week old. The primary male is sitting, but has to get up. Will his offspring help with the hatching and feeding process? I wasn't able to locate an answer here or anywhere for that manner. I thank you in advance for any help you can give me.
