Hi Magoo,
Do you have this pigeon in your home now? You want to keep an eye on the bird and monitor it's behaviour...easier said than done I know and especially for those unfamiliar with pigeons and/or the individual. Keep it warm, in a draft free spot, away from any loud noises, kids and other pets. Provide a good, fresh pigeon seed mix or wild bird seed will do in a pinch. Offer good clean water as well (with the ACV), probiotics would be nice if you can get some. These are 'friendly" bacteria like what is found in yoghurt. You can get them in health food stores or drug stores for humans and these can be used for the pigeon. You would take a capsule, moisten in water or lightly coat in corn oil, then slide it down the bird's throat. One a day for a week would be good for now. Without knowing more history on the bird: it's age, overall health or possibly other symptoms, it's nearly impossible for us to advise you about the poo at this stage. |
