Strange behavior?

My pigeon, now around 27-32 days old has been showing strange behavior. I think its courting behavior but im not shure. If I drum my fingers on the desk, he puffs up, opens his wings a bit, and spreads his tail feathers out and drags them on the ground toward me. Then once he's next to me he stops and peeps. If it is couting behavior, why is he doing it so young?

Yes it is a mating behavior. What kind of pigeon is it?

He just is mature for his age.

He feels content and happy with you being around him. Should be proud!

Its a rock pigeon, and thats what I thought, but it was strange to me because he is young yet.

It's just showing its strong character which is a good trait in birds, imo.
