The Wellington Petition Is Closed Now Email Or PhoneI emailed the the right honourable john hunt ,new zealand consulate in london and have received a reply saying "Mr Hunt is not involved with this cull as his duties are specifically related to the representation of new zealand in the uk,ireland and nigeria.I recommend you forward your feedback directly to the wellington authorities at the wellington council.I believe the appropriate contact is Mr Richard Maclean,council communications tel.048013578 or 0212278180." The email address is info@wcc.govt.nz and i think if as many of us as possible email or phone it can only strengthen the petition.any thoughts?

e-mailsYes, Reti, especially those of us who signed the petition, as that will back up the validity of the signatures. Kingsley is going to have a real rough row to hoe facing that council and she needs all the ammunition she can gather. I suggest every person who e-mails the council also Private Message Kingsley that they did, so she will have a list of emailers in her hand too.
PS.....I'm having a senior moment..........when is the council meeting?? How much time do we have???

The petition may be closed but we can still email the Council Persons and Mayor. They do respond. They have responded to me in a very neutral way but if they hear from enough people, it's got to make a difference. I got their contact information from a link on the petition. Here it is...

I have e-mailed the Council. Is it the same address for the Mayor?
Sadly, in the UK there are still pigeon culls, not hunting but shooting, perhaps when this is settled we can do something about fighting them on the grounds of the deterrent to tourism? A slight amendment to the wording of letters to NZ would suffice. Cynthia

I know, does anyone know how to contact Hannah, I have a million questions about what happens now, when the meeting is, etc. I am so worried for those pigeons! Poison is so gross!
