Why won’t my breeders lay eggs?

Why won’t my breeders lay eggs? They have breeding boxes 1 foot and a half in a foot tall nesting boxes with platy of nesting materiel, um plenty of grit, food and water. There not over weight. Plenty of suns shine. I just don’t know what i'm missing. They have been together sins January 1st of this year. Help!!!

Hi MARKUS, How old are these birds? If they are late hatches from last year they may not be old enough. Where are these birds from? Sometimes when birds are move from their old location they will not lay,for some time. What kind of feed supplements do you use and your birds could have a sickness. Realy it is quite hard to answer your question with out seeing your loft set up and birds. Can you give us some more information on your birds. .GEORGE

well um ok the birds have been at my loft for all most year and a half there are no late hatches um I have these wooden breeding boxes the boxes are about 2 feet in and about a foot height the feed I’m feeding is a racing mix but I put a breeders mix thingy on the food they have breed here before nothing has change sense then

Hey Marcus,
Unless you live in the deep south it might be a little early. I run lights on my breeders to get them to start in Feb.
