ummm lets talk about how that when I went to the feed store today and feed actually went down in price instead of up I almost fell on the floor lol

Take the advantage and buy a lot while the prices are lower, when they get higher again it might be awhile again before you see that they are cheaper...

regular wild bird seed you mean? They are all different but with most wild bird seeds, they do not have the variety of seed pigeons need to be healthy.

Plain ole wild bird seed is okay, but like Gimpie said, it's not the BEST alone. Try to get some with the most variety. You can always add things like safflower (if it doesn't already have it in the mix), peas, peanuts, corn, etc. We really need to go get more feed. At the moment my birds are mad because all I've got is some bird seed (the fruit and nut mix) and scratch feed. They're liking the peanuts in the bird seed though

hahahahaha
I made the mistake of putting a empty gallon with a hole cut it in in the breeder loft and filled it with peanuts
I didnt know that they should only be used for treats
BOY OH BOY did they get fat!!!!!
I have since then removed it lol
