You'll all know the answer to this but I'm newAbout ten years ago I got a half dozen pigeons from a friend's dad. He told me to keep them penned up for a couple weeks or they would fly away. I was nervous and kept them penned for a couple of months. When I let them loose they stayed. They were farm pigeons and they're all gone now. I want a flock again and I just want to make sure that this always works. I want to keep a couple pair in a tiny backyard loft until I move back out into the country. How long should I wait to make sure?
