Absesses-more questions

I have a pigion that has an absess on his neck. The Vet says that I can cleen it out with Hydrogin Peroxide and give him anti-biotics. I have been doing that and now he has another one in a different spot. I was wondering if this will ever go away or if it will be a constant thing. And if there is any thing that i can do different to prevent more?
