Where exactly is the break on the leg? Can you post a picture?

If it is a simple fracture on the leg it can be fixed easily with a splint, but it is always best to have an avian vet or rehabber take a look at it to see if it will mend properly. Some breaks can be difficult to splint depending on location so its best to get someone qualified to look at it. For example, a break up in the thigh area needs to be taped completely different, and the bird put in confinement so he cannot move the leg at all for a few weeks. I have one who had his leg completely taped up to his chest, but it had to be in such a position for it to mend correctly. He is completely healed though it took several weeks after healing before he actually walked normal again.
