Well after calling all over the cities and those numbers you gave me Charis, they all recommend I go to the U of M veterinary center.

The cost will be 106.75 and I won't get the results for a good 3 weeks!!! By then I could possibly lose another bird.

Sorry for the late response, here are some pictures of the birds. These pics are only about a month old.

This hen was the first one to be sick. It was her that I suspect the outbreak came from. However she is very healthy at the moment, no signs of anything on her.

this girl was still molting.

I would encourage you to take a fecal to the vet I had the conversation with ASAP. Often more than one condition makes these beloved birds or ours ill. In the meantime I would send that body off for evaluation. Doing so may safe you looses and more heart ache in the long run.

Sorry, but by posting a picture usually means picture of the bird now and their recent poops. A month old picture is no good to see what is going with the bird.

my dad took my camera and he lost it, or else I would have to use my pixelated camera phone.

None of the vets take a fecal exam. They pretty much just want me to bring the body for a necropsy.

I did notice that his poop is runny. I was cleaning out the quarantine cage last night and it looks a little runny. Although the poop has dried it did not dry in a nice solid clump but rather a loose one. Looks like a lime green with distinct white areas.

This vet told me he can do a fecal. Thake a bird and some poop mixed from the loft. The poop should be the freshest possible.I talked to the vet in length and I think he will do what's right by you.

Ok I don't think I asked that question. I was pretty much just asking who is will to do a necropsy.

lol Yes she is one of my stock birds. Her spins are incredible.

Charis what was the name of the vet you talked to? I called and got the receptionist again. She just said that the only thing they do with birds was trim beaks and nails and told me to call the Ark Animal hospital.

I think I copied the incorrect info for you yesterday. I'm very sorry for the confusion.
