I found a pigeon and he seems to have problems with his legs

I put it in a safe place, gave him water and seeds, but when I checked him today (I thought it was his wings) it seems that he has some kind of wound on the leg and his leg is swollen. He is not using his legs at all. What should I do to help him?

This could be an injury,infection, or something else.
