Hello & Welcome to pigeons.com

I believe the consensus for isolation of a suspected PMV pij is 8-12 weeks.

Do you have, or know of someone who has, a PMV pij?
I have a fancy pigeon that was brought to me with PMV symptoms & fortunately I have a vet who is pigeon 'smart' & suggested a course of Prednisone. We were fortunate, as this form of treatment was a great success. Two months after Pij's first dose he was symptom free & now lives life to it's fullest.

Cynthia, one of our Moderators, also has extensive experience with PMV pijjies.

If we can be of help, please let us know.

Cindy
