Hi, I just got trhough treating all my birds for salmonilla. I still have afew that act funny. Will these issues go away, or will the continue. I have one who eats but looks horrible, and holds her tail off to one side, and another that runs in circles. Is this permanent, or will it just take time to disapate? HELP!!!!

Are you certain that it was salmonella and not PMV?

The question I have. is regarding the way you administered treatment of your birds for salmonella. If you did a flock treatment, it's impossible to know if all you birds received the amount of medicine they needed. The only way to know for sure, is to do individual treatment which can be quite difficult if you have a lot of birds.
I would suggest you separate the birds that look not well, bring them inside where you can monitor them and individually treat them.
I think that way, you will be able to figure out soon enough if it's salmonella or PMV.

I don't know about that but I do know that there is no way of knowing each birds receives the medication it needs via the flock treatment.
I don't know what you were treating with, but 7 days may be too conservative time.

Salmonella you have to treat longer than 7 days. Also if your birds don't get the right amount of antibiotic they might look healthy but can be carriers of salmonella and reinfect others.
As mentioned, separate the sick ones and continue treating for another week.
Plus, clean your loft thoroughly every day.

This is a link to a video on salmonellosis, it will enable you to compare your pigeons' symtoms to salmonellosis and to PMV.
