Need advice

Hi, iI have a young pigeon-about 4-5 week old-anyway to the point. He isn't active like the other pigeons, his reactions are slow,he does not really have any interest for food, and whenever I send him out he just goes on the roof and rests while the other pigeons fly around.....what could be the problem ?
(By the way,his father died when he was a sqab...so his mother was the one who fed him)

Have you checked the youngster carefully to be sure s/he doesn't have some type of health problem like canker, cocci, or worms?

besides worms, how can the other diseases be cured? By the way his father never came back after weeks so I guessed he died...

There are pigeon medications available from several on-line pigeon supply houses that can be used to treat almost all the common pigeon diseases and parasites. Foy's, Global, Northeast, and Siegel's are a few sites that you can check out. If I remember correctly, Zig posted a link to a pretty good "beginner" kit from Foy's that contains a lot of the commonly used/needed products.

How is the little bird doing?
From your descriptions, the bird sounded sick.
Has there been any change?
Thanks,
Carl

Its seems to me that he has worms....I'm giving him a worm out for this week.
He hasn't changed at all.I don't kow if it is my imagination but he's very light.Maybe because of malnutrition since the mother was the one who was only feeding him.I'll give him some vitamins today.

I'm so sorry to hear. I know it must be so very hard when something you cared about died.

You tried, hope everything else goes well..
