There is a rescued feral pigeon
in NYC that has been treated for many weeks by an area veterinary clinic as well as having spent several weeks with a local rehabber. The bird was released from the clinic, went to the rehabber, and was then returned to the clinic for additional treatment.
The rescuer of the bird needs to find someone in the area who can care for this bird. It requires frequent hand feeding of small quantities of food as there is some type of crop problem where vomiting occurs if the crop is filled more than about half way.
If you are able to assist with this bird, please let me know, and I will put you in touch with the person who contacted me about the situation.
