Pigeon with hurt elbow

alright, got this one last night, already put in a frantic call to Pidgey and figured out the treatment.
My roommate said a pigeon was cowering in the door to the police station, and all i could think of was that mean animal control guy, getting him and gassing him, so i ran over, saw no cops, and grabbed him up. His wing was hanging a bit low, and he was bald on his back and shoulder. I bug sprayed him, and did a quick check, my roommate said, "Look, you're bleeding," I had blood running down my hand, it was the bird, from something under his wing.
One of the puncture wounds had opened up, nothing too bad. But, dummy me, saw the missing patch of feathers on his elbow and thought that big lump was his shoulder, so i was freaking out thinking this big lump was something VERY bad, i guess i just never saw a bald bird, and didnt think that is was PART of him. Finally, after Pidgey saw the pics, he said it was just a swollen elbow. Wow, not as bad as i thought, GOOD!
He's on amoxicillin because he has some puncture wounds, and it seems like it could of been partly by a hawk from the puncture wounds, but all the abrasions and such are under the GOOD wing, so i wonder if he got away from the hawk, then got hit by a car, i mean, who knows, but i always wonder what happened.
Anyways, he's a fat little bugger, so i know he's from my flock, they are some well fed pijjies!
here's some pics, the last 6 are him, but, as you can see, to my untrained eye i thought that lump was his shoulder, not the elbow! i mean, i've never seen a totally BALD pijjie, and when i saw that bald patch and the bruising around it, all i could think of was hurt shoulder, so, total amateur mistake, but thats what you guys are for!

Ouch, looks painful, but he should be alright.

Those jeans are actually in style, aren't they?

LOL! Funny Pidgey! When i sent the pics, he said, "well, i see that big black thing, whats that?" and i thought he was talking about the bird at first! LOL!
Yep, had those jeans forever, and just keep patching them as they rip more and more, pretty soon it'll be just patches!
I have jeans with no holes, but i'm quite attached to those for some reason.
Pijjie is doing fine, eating and drinking alot, getting even fatter i think! He is one big boy for sure!
