I use the Solaray brand (Multidopholis), it is human grade but works well for pigeons, you can buy the powder or caps. You can find it in the refrigerator section in a health food store.

Great, I'll look for the Solaray Multidophilus. Just to confirm, that's the probiotic right? Do you know if there is a liquid calcium product at the health food store that I could use for Thompson?

Otto, his buddy, is miserable without him. I guess I'll just have to wait and see if he develops symptoms or not. Shoot.

Thank you so much,

Bronwyn

* Yes, that is the probiotic.

** They may have a liquid calcium you can use, be sure to ask someone if the rpoduct can be used on birds. I use a human grade alflalfa tablet for a calcium source for my rehab birds, it works well. I will add a drop of cod liver oil, as it has vitamin d3 in it-which is important for calcium absorption, and if they are indoors they are not getting any from the sun.
