To the unregistered member who asked ....Can pigeons be blind?

Yes, pigeons can be blind, they can be born that way, due to some issue, or be blinded in accidents.

Pigeons can have a good quality of life and interact very well with other pigeons within a loft, with just one eye blinded, but they should not be allowed outside.

I also know of several pigeons born blind in both eyes, and who lost sight in both eyes due to a terrible accident.

They can also live well and maintain quality life with the help of their human.

Please do respond and give us more information, so we can help. If it is disease or accident the eye/s can possibly be saved by proper treatment.
