wing injury


hey my homer has been bumping into things and i think that is how he got his wing injured I'm gonna put up some pics of it but should i do something about it or will it heal on its own it looks like a minor injury

Hi. Can he still flap and fly OK ? if so, maybe just put some Silvadene or first aid cream on it once a day for a couple of days.

If you see him getting worse, or repeatedly reinjuring the area, or if it's swelling, he may need antibiotics.

How is it he keeps "bumping into things " ? Does he seem to have lost coordination, or is he getting overly excitable ?????

yehey sorry bout the late reply hese not repeting it and it seems hese getting better he just bumped into the windo and stuff like that nothing wrong with his coordination , where can i buy silvidine from

Silvadene = Thermazine, which is usually a prescription ointment.

Any over-the-counter antibacterial ointment will do, if you can't find Silvadene.
